Students in 7th and 8th grade participate in a variety of elective classes weekly. These classes are designed by SMA faculty members and their purpose is to support and expand students’ interests and talents outside of core content area classes.

• Art classes include: Advanced Studio Art, 3D Studio Art, Digital Art, and Expressive Arts

• Music classes include: Band, Choir, and Generational Music

• Physical education classes include: Healthy Living, PE Games, and a Dance class

• A variety of other elective classes offered include: WSMA, Film Study, Hands to Service, Service Scouts, Math Lab, Advanced Technology, and WIN (What I Need). All students in 6-8th grade also take Spanish class weekly, 8th grade students have Spanish class three times weekly.
